More Teens Choosing Rhinoplasty......We Asked the Expert, Dr. Robert Vitolo..... Why?

August 13, 2010 @ 09:19 PM — by Emily Santangelo

According to recently released statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, rhinoplasty was ranked as the  most popular cosmetic surgical procedure for teenagers in 2009.  We asked board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Robert Vitolo, why this might be, "After about the age of 16, a person's nose is fully developed and does not continue to change much.  If at that stage in their life  a young person is unhappy with their appearance, it makes sense to have nose surgery, sooner rather than later, because the nose will not change much over time and surgical intervention is the only way to revise its look."  Dr. Vitolo added, "  A rhinoplasty can improve self-confidence in younger patients and do wonders for their self-esteem."

Legendary looks are not something to just dream about.  Release the inner starlet in you........
