At Dr. Robert Vitolo’s office, we believe strongly in offering our patients choices and providing an array of services that can be customized to meet any patient’s aesthetic goals. In addition to cosmetic surgery procedures such as the minimally-invasive endoscopic facelift, brow lift, and other procedures, we provide our New York City, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey patients with several non-surgical options: Restylane®, JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel, BOTOX® Cosmetic, and more.

Restylane®

Restylane® is an injectable filler that can be used to restore smoothness and volume to treat crow’s feet and wrinkles below the eyes, wrinkles around the lips, and nasolabial folds (the creases that develop between the sides of the nose and the sides of the mouth). It can also effectively fill age-related hollows in the face, such as those that sometimes develop around the eyes. A clear gel, Restylane® is made of safe hyaluronic acid that resembles the hyaluronic acid found naturally in the body. Restylane® treatments take approximately thirty minutes to perform and the results last up to six months. Afterwards, patients experience some redness and tenderness that gradually subsides in the next two days.

JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel

JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel is an alternative to Restylane® injections that produces results that can last significantly longer than Restylane®. Moderate to severe facial wrinkles and creases, such as nasolabial folds, can be corrected with JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel in approximately fifteen minutes, and the results have been FDA approved to last up to one year. BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a popular option for a reason—it effectively smoothes frown lines, furrows between the brows, and other creases which develop over time as you make normal facial expressions. Made from a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, BOTOX® Cosmetic calms the muscles that create the lines and creases on your face, restoring a smoother and younger look. The results last up to four months. If you seek to treat wrinkling in the eye area or around your mouth, Restylane® or JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel may provide preferable results to BOTOX® Cosmetic.
