Have you been dreaming about using liposuction to achieve a more contoured body?
Whether you’re still researching liposuction procedures now or still playing around with the idea, there may be something holding you back from making that leap: a potentially long recovery period.
As it turns out, you may not need that much downtime from liposuction surgery. Read on to learn more about the length of your liposuction recovery, based on board-certified Dr. Robert Vitolo’s experiences and insights.
While traditional liposuction surgery may require downtime of one to two weeks, Dr. Vitolo takes a completely different approach.
Instead of manually breaking up fat tissue with a cannula – which can create excess bruising, bleeding, and swelling – Dr. Vitolo uses an innovative liposuction technique known as External Ultrasonic Assisted Liposculpture.
Liposculpture uses ultrasound energy to break up and liquify fat tissue in the treatment area before liposuction surgery begins. This means there’s less manual breaking up of the fat tissue, leading to a significant reduction in swelling and bruising.
As a result of Dr. Vitolo’s world-class techniques, patients only need to take two to three days off before they’re able to return back to work.
You’re a good candidate for liposuction surgery if you have a diet and exercise regimen already in place, but you haven’t been seeing results from your hard work. Liposculpture can be used to remove fat on the following body areas:
“I have been a patient of Dr. Vitolo for 30 years and have had full body liposuction, a rhinoplasty and breast augmentation. Over these 30 years I also get fillers. Collagen, restylane and botox. All my experiences in the office have been pleasant. Dr. VItolo is an awesome surgeon and he has hands of gold. I am actually 50 and nobody believes me. They think I’m 35-40 and I look natural His staff is polite and courteous as well. I would definitely recommend him. He is the best!!” *
